CCTV installation in Nairobi and across Kenya
APOPS Assurance designs, supplies and installs CCTV systems for homes, offices, shops, schools, warehouses, farms and estates. Every job starts with a site survey, so each camera covers what matters: gates, entrances, tills, stores and perimeters. You then watch everything live on your phone.
What we install
- IP cameras (2 MP to 8 MP / 4K) with colour night vision and smart motion detection
- Solar-powered 4G cameras for gates, farms, construction sites and places without power or internet
- PTZ cameras that pan, tilt and zoom to follow movement across large compounds
- Network video recorders (NVR) with enough storage for 30 days or more of footage
- Remote viewing on Android and iPhone, with alerts when someone enters a zone
- Structured cabling, PoE switches, power backup (UPS) and lightning protection
How a CCTV project works
- Site survey: we walk the premises, mark blind spots and agree what each camera must see
- Design and quotation: camera positions, recorder, storage and cabling, in one clear quote
- Installation by our own technicians, neatly cabled and labelled
- Handover: we set up the app on your phones and show your staff how to find and export footage
- Support: maintenance visits and remote help when you need it
CCTV and the Data Protection Act
Cameras record people, so CCTV footage is personal data under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019. We place cameras so they cover your property and not your neighbours. We put up clear signs, and we set retention and access so only authorised people can view or export footage. If you need it, we also audit existing systems for compliance.

Frequently asked questions
How much does CCTV installation cost in Kenya?
It depends on the number of cameras, the resolution, how far cables must run and how long you want to keep recordings. A small shop or home system needs far less equipment than a compound with a perimeter. After a site survey we give one fixed quotation with equipment, installation and setup. Live equipment prices are in the APOPS online shop.
Can I watch my cameras on my phone?
Yes. Every system we install is set up for live and recorded viewing on Android and iPhone. We configure the app for you during handover.
Do you install CCTV where there is no electricity or internet?
Yes. Solar CCTV cameras with a built-in battery and 4G SIM work without mains power or Wi-Fi. They suit gates, farms, construction sites and remote stores.
How long is footage kept?
It depends on the recorder's storage and the number of cameras. Most business systems are designed to keep 2 to 4 weeks of recordings. We size the storage to what you need.
Do you maintain systems installed by someone else?
Yes. We can inspect, repair, upgrade and maintain existing CCTV systems, including fixing cameras that are offline or recorders that stopped recording.
